Sharon S. Goodwyn of Norfolk and Joseph R. Thomas of Virginia Beach have been elected to the Board of Trustees of Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾, according to David L. Kaufman, Chair of the Board. Goodwyn serves as Counsel at Hunton Andrews Kurth and Thomas is a retired Regional Vice President of GEICO. More 
Remembering Robert C. "Bob" Nusbaum
Hampton Roads civic leader Robert C. "Bob" Nusbaum, a former Virginia Wesleyan Trustee and Founding Fellow of the Center for the Study of Religious Freedom, passed away on October 30, 2018. Nusbaum was the driving force behind the creation of the Center for the Study of Religious Freedom (CSRF) at Virginia Wesleyan, first proposing the idea for the Center.

VCIC Makes History with VWU Office
It's official: the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities (VCIC) has a new home in Hampton Roads, on the campus of Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾. For the first time in its 83-year history, the organization has expanded its physical presence beyond its Richmond home base, setting up an office on the campus of Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾. More
  
 
Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾ is prominently featured in Dr. Madeleine Green's "In Search of Curricular Coherence," a report from the Teagle Foundation on curricular reform endeavors across the country. The report is the result of the culmination of a 30-month grant from the Teagle Foundation that engaged Virginia Wesleyan faculty with faculty from Davis & Elkins College, Shenandoah University and Eckerd College in creating "a more compelling and coherent liberal arts curriculum."
