Aaron Rouse to Serve as MLK Day Speaker
VWU’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day commemoration event will be held on January 16, with a special luncheon, sponsored by VWU Athletics, featuring Virginia Beach City Councilman and former NFL player Aaron Rouse as keynote speaker
Faculty Awards Presented
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Sue Larkin presented awards to two members of the VWU faculty during the VWU Global Campus Commencement Ceremony on December 17. The Faculty Award for Distinguished Scholarship was presented to Dr. William McConnell, Associate Professor of Education, and the Faculty Award for Campus Service was presented to Dr. Elizabeth Malcolm, Professor of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences.
