Virginia Wesleyan University is committed to upholding FERPA regulations and protecting your academic record. Therefore, ample time is needed to confirm your academic record and create a replacement diploma. As such, VWU replacement diplomas will be shipped every 8-10 weeks. For specific questions regarding your diploma replacement or its status, please contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@vwu.edu.
Replacement diplomas include current dignitary signatures, not the signatures on the original diploma. The original degree date will remain the same.
All diplomas will state “Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾.” Diplomas listing “Virginia Wesleyan College” are not available. Replacement diplomas reflect the legal name listed in the alumni record and include Virginia Beach as the university location.
Diploma covers are not included with the Diploma Replacement Request.
