Andrea began coaching at Virginia Wesleyan in March 2007, and guided the program to a 19-9 finish her first year. She is the former assistant volleyball coach at Marietta College, Ohio, for two seasons, and former head coach at Northern High School in Owings, Md., guiding the 2002 and 2003 teams to the Maryland regionals. She also served as an assistant coach at Northern High School in 2000 and 2001, helping lead the teams to back-to-back Maryland state championships. Andrea received a M.A. Ed. from Marietta College in May 2006 and received a B.S. in Education from Slippery Rock University in 1999. She is listed among the Slippery Rock's all-time leaders in career aces (104) and digs (1,194), and played in 424 games for teams that compiled a 76-58 record.
